An engaging art workshop titled “Ramadan Lantern” was recently held for children with special needs in Sharm El Sheikh as part of the “Welcome Ramadan” initiative. The workshop aimed to provide a creative and inclusive environment where these children could participate in festive activities and express their artistic talents. The event was designed to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan and promote a sense of community and togetherness among the participants.
The Museum Education Department for Special Needs at Sharm El Sheikh Museum organized an art workshop titled “Ramadan Lantern” for children with special needs under the slogan “Welcome Ramadan,” in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan. This event is part of the museum’s ongoing efforts to organize workshops for this group across various age groups, aiming to nurture their artistic talents and showcase their creativity.
The workshop activities included preparing an interactive Ramadan calendar that featured prayers and simple daily tasks, such as smiling at others or giving charity.
Children also participated in designing Ramadan lanterns made from cardboard and decorated them with their artistic expressions.
This workshop aims to integrate children with special needs into cultural and artistic activities, promote positive values and habits, and develop their creative skills in a joyful Ramadan atmosphere.
