The Civil Defense reported via their Telegram channel that the rescue operation lasted more than ten hours. The woman was fully conscious when she was rescued and was transported to Manbij National Hospital, where initial examinations showed that her health condition was stable, and her vital signs were good.
During the rescue operation, oxygen was pumped into the well, and all necessary procedures and equipment were prepared to secure the rescue operation and provide first aid as soon as the woman was removed from the well.
The initial examinations indicated that the rescued woman’s condition was stable – Syrian Civil Defense.
The teams used manual equipment and were assisted by local well-diggers in the manual digging work to speed up the digging process in the rocky terrain.
Simultaneously, the rescue teams continued digging and pumping oxygen into the well to ensure that the trapped woman, identified by the Civil Defense as having special needs, did not suffocate, according to Syria TV.
The Civil Defense called on residents to be cautious of open wells, especially in areas where civilians have recently returned. They urged them to close and secure these wells properly and to report any open or abandoned wells to the teams for proper handling and securing.
