The Association for Children with Special Needs organized its first charity market under the motto “Step for Good” in celebration of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The market aims to empower students with special needs to engage in commercial activities and integrate into the job market, alongside their entry into the world of commerce. The market offers essentials for Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, including accessories, fabrics for women and men, and some food items.
Khadija bint Nasser Al-Sa’atiyah, Chairperson of the Association’s Board of Directors, explained that the association always strives to organize events to support this important segment of society. The objective is to encourage their integration, assist them, and boost their self-confidence so they don’t feel different from other members of society. These events contribute to building their independence, developing their skills, and promoting active participation in the job market. The market has seen significant engagement from visitors.
