The Ministry of Labor has issued a warning to beneficiaries of the Department of Care for Those with Special Needs and Disabilities, advising them not to engage with any entity other than the official department for services. The ministry emphasized that the official department is the only authorized body responsible for providing these services and urged the public to verify information directly through the department’s official channels or by contacting the toll-free number “444”.
The Disability and Special Needs Rights Authority at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs in Iraq has warned all beneficiaries of its services in Baghdad and other provinces against dealing with any entities or individuals claiming to provide the authority’s services in exchange for money.
The authority confirmed that all its transactions are carried out through official channels without any additional costs, and any request for money is an attempt at fraud. Legal measures will be taken against violators, and their numbers will be referred to the relevant security authorities.
The authority calls on everyone to exercise caution and communicate exclusively through official channels to report any similar cases and protect their rights.
