The Ministry of Culture is organizing 150 diverse cultural and artistic events across all governorates to mark the International Day of Persons with Special Needs on December 3.
Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, emphasized that this day represents an important occasion to affirm the significance of enhancing integration among all segments of society and ensuring the rights of individuals with special needs in various fields.
He stressed the Ministry of Culture’s ongoing commitment to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to empower individuals with special needs by providing opportunities necessary to showcase their talents and fulfill their aspirations.
The Minister of Culture stated, “At the Ministry of Culture, we strive to promote initiatives that integrate individuals with special needs into the cultural and artistic scene, encouraging the production of works that highlight their exceptional abilities and contribute to building an inclusive society characterized by diversity and equality.”
He pointed out that the ministry implements numerous initiatives and projects aimed at enabling individuals with special needs to participate effectively in cultural and artistic life. This includes organizing cultural and artistic events specifically for them, as well as providing educational programs and training courses that contribute to developing their skills.
