The “Friends of People with Special Needs” association organized a Ramadan Suhoor event on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, attended and honored by Royal Highnesses, businessmen, parents, individuals with special needs, media representatives, and related entities.
The Suhoor featured various entertainment activities, informational booths, traditional games, and a Ramadan tent.
During the event, and in line with the association’s efforts to enhance partnerships and social responsibility in accordance with Vision 2030 and improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs, the “Friends of People with Special Needs” association signed three agreements. The first agreement was with Jahez International Information Systems Technology, attended by Mr. Hamad Al-Bakr, Executive Director of Operations. The second agreement was with the Technical Giving Association, attended by Ms. Hind Al-Ghamdi, Chairperson of the Association’s Board of Directors. The third agreement was with Events and More Entertainment, attended by Ms. Lara Fawaz Romani, Executive Director.
Princess Ghadeer bint Abdullah Al Saud, Chairperson of the Association’s Board of Directors, and Princess Dania bint Abdullah Al Saud, Executive Director, along with the Royal Highnesses, members of the Board of Directors, and Ms. Kholoud Al-Shaya, attended the signing ceremony. Princess Dania bint Abdullah Al Saud emphasized that each agreement has a work plan aligned with the objectives and activities of each party to ensure maximum benefit for individuals with special needs and prepare them for the job market. The association welcomes any partnerships that align with its goals to achieve Vision 2030.
During the event, attendees participated in entertainment activities and games with individuals with special needs, engaging in conversations and taking photos in a joyful and active atmosphere. They visited the informational booths and expressed positive reactions to the association’s efforts in supporting individuals with special needs in activities, preparing them for employment, and helping them achieve independence and integration into society.
At the end of the event, Princess Dania bint Abdullah Al Saud, the Executive Director of the Association, and the Board of Directors extended their thanks to Her Royal Highness Princess Jawaher bint Saud bin Abdullah bin Thunayan, CEO of King Salman Social Center, for her efforts in hosting the event and providing all necessary arrangements.
They also thanked the Royal Highnesses, esteemed guests, businessmen, Mr. Zaid bin Jabreen, parents, individuals with special needs, media representatives, Jahez, the Technical Giving Association, Events and More Entertainment, and the Shua’a Al-Amal Volunteer Team. Additionally, they thanked the event sponsors and the association’s partners in all activities, including Shaza Al-Romance Hotel, McDonald’s, and Pizzario. Princess Dania confirmed that the association welcomes any initiatives to improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs and their families.
