In a step reflecting Kuwait University’s commitment to quality education and student care, University President Professor Dina Mesad Al-Milem conducted a field visit to oversee the Academic Aptitude Test (which is crucial for granting students the opportunity to enter university) and to ensure the best conditions for students, their parents, and Kuwait University staff. During her visit, she met with them and emphasized that Kuwait University always strives to provide a safe and supportive educational environment for our students as they are “a trust.”
Professor Al-Milem was accompanied by Acting Assistant Vice President for Assessment and Measurement, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sulaili.
During her visit, Al-Milem inspected the testing process in the halls of the College of Sciences, Life Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Engineering and Petroleum, Education, and Arts, as well as the university administration building.
As part of the university’s commitment to providing an inclusive environment for all, special rooms equipped for individuals with special needs were allocated, with specialized monitors to ensure a comfortable and safe testing experience for all students. These rooms were equipped with necessary facilities such as assistive computers, special writing tools, and specialists to help students with special needs perform their tests smoothly and effectively.
Professor Dina Mesad Al-Milem also met with those responsible for the Assessment and Measurement Center to exchange views and observations on the tests. She also met with the security and safety management team, reflecting the university’s commitment to ensuring the safety of students, their parents, and Kuwait University staff, and providing all means to guarantee a positive educational experience.
The president confirmed that the security and safety department, medical clinics, and cafeteria are fully prepared to receive students, parents, and staff, offering them various services during the testing period.
During her tour, the university president expressed her satisfaction with the organization and procedures in place, noting that the university always aims to provide an ideal educational environment.
It is worth mentioning that Kuwait University is keen on keeping up with the latest educational methods and applying best international practices in student assessment, enhancing its status as a leading educational institution.
