Al Ahly Club’s Theatre Stars for Special Needs Win First Prize at the Cairo Arab Child Festival. The talented performers of Al Ahly Club’s Theatre for Special Needs have secured the first prize at the Cairo Arab Child Festival with their stunning theatrical presentation, “1 Al-Mu’ezz Street.”
The stars of the show captivated the audience and the jury with their remarkable abilities and charisma, leaving many surprised by the precision, professionalism, agility, and overall excellence showcased across all aspects of the production, including acting, set design, music, lyrics, script, and direction. The jury indicated that they did not take long to reach a decision, swiftly confirming the victory of Al Ahly’s champions.
The production is held annually under the patronage of Captain Mahmoud El Khatib, the president of Al Ahly Club, with the strong support of the club’s board members and Dr. Saad Shalaby, the General Manager of the club, who are all committed to this extraordinary annual event.
Al Ahly Club’s Theatre for Special Needs is one of the key initiatives of the club’s Special Needs Committee, overseen by the higher committee led by Eng. Walid Mabrouk, with Dr. Dina Mohsen serving as the head of the Special Needs Committee and along with its members.
For the third consecutive year, the play is directed by theatre director Faisal El Shanaway, with Ahmad Awad assisting in direction and acting. The music for this year’s performance was composed by musician Sherif Hamdan, with the script written by poet Abdallah Hassan and set design created by the talented engineer Dr. Dina Rafat.
