The General Secretariat of Endowments organized the 23rd edition of the “Make Others Happy to Be Happy” event for orphans, with wide participation from governmental and civil society organizations. The event featured a lively atmosphere filled with entertainment and awareness activities aimed at supporting and integrating orphans.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Wasmi, the Minister of Endowments, highlighted the importance of community work in caring for orphans, emphasizing the role of endowments in achieving social solidarity. The Secretary-General of the Secretariat, Nasser Al-Hamad, also praised the efforts of volunteer teams, stating that the event reflects Kuwait’s commitment to supporting those most in need.
The event saw a prominent role from Ms. Iman Al-Khalidi, founder of the “Faith Initiatives” volunteer team, who led her team in organizing interactive activities to bring joy to orphans. She underscored the importance of social solidarity and volunteerism in supporting this group.
As part of the celebration, the General Secretariat of Endowments honored Ms. Hanan Al-Anzi, founder of Jusoor International Company, in recognition of her efforts in supporting orphans.
The 23rd edition of the “Make Others Happy to Be Happy” initiative for orphans was organized by the General Secretariat of Endowments in Kuwait. The event took place at the Hassan Abul Sports Center in Dasma and featured collaboration with organizations like the Sheikh Abdullah Al-Nouri Charity Society and the Faith Initiatives volunteer team.
The initiative aims to provide comprehensive care for orphans, including education, health, psychological support, and social integration. It also seeks to raise community awareness about the importance of supporting orphans and protecting them from negative influences.
The event included various activities, such as light painting, a song dedicated to orphans, and an awards ceremony to honor participating organizations. The Minister of Endowments, Dr. Mohammed Al-Wasmi, emphasized the importance of social responsibility and the role of endowments in supporting orphans.
