Nizwa Hospital has signed a cooperation agreement with Oman Towers Company as part of the third edition of the “Help Me Hear” initiative.
The initiative aims to provide hearing aids to school students with special needs in grades (1-12) and preschool children in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate. The agreement was signed in the presence of several officials and experts in the field.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Nizwa Hospital by Dr. Khalil bin Ibrahim Al Kharousi, Acting Director of the hospital, and on behalf of Oman Towers Company by Mr. Mahmood Bani Araba, General Manager of Operations at the company.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from the Department of Special Education and Continuing Education at the General Directorate of Education in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, the General Directorate of Social Development, and representatives from Tawasul Center for Hearing and Speech in Muscat, the supplier of the hearing aids. The initiative’s goals and its impact were also discussed during the event.
