His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Baha, shared a Suhoor meal with his children with special needs, presenting them with gifts in a friendly atmosphere.
A video clip showed the moment His Highness welcomed them warmly before presenting the gifts.
The clip also documented Prince Hussam sitting with them at the Suhoor table, engaging in friendly conversations. One of the children expressed his love for him, to which His Highness responded, “I swear I love you too. I’m happy you came. Always come to me.”
Background: Prince Hussam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz was born on May 23, 1960, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. He is the son of King Saud and one of the grandsons of Saudi Arabia’s founder, King Abdulaziz.
Education: He holds a degree in economics from King Saud University, a master’s degree in economics from the London School of Economics, and a PhD in economic theories of unemployment and its impact on government policies from Birkbeck College, University of London.
Career: Prince Hussam is a businessman with various business activities, including Arabian Plastic Compound and NAHL Water Factory in Egypt and Lebanon. He is also the chairman of Saudi-Kuwait Holding and the former chairman of Zain Saudi Arabia. In April 2017, he was appointed as the governor of Al-Baha province1.
Initiatives: As the governor, Prince Hussam has been actively involved in various initiatives to improve the region. For example, he recently chaired a meeting of the Supervisory Committee to improve the urban landscape in Al-Baha. He also inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 36 water, sanitation, and agricultural projects worth more than 2.4 billion Saudi Riyals
