The Ministry of Social Solidarity celebrated the graduation of the third cohort of the SEED Program, organized by the “Helm” Foundation, where over 500 individuals with special needs successfully completed the program.
The ceremony was attended by Maha Helali, Technical Advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity for Special Needs and Rehabilitation, on behalf of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, along with several public figures and program partners.
Dr. Maha Helali expressed her pride in the achievements of the program graduates, praising the efforts of the “Helm” Foundation in providing educational and employment opportunities for people with special needs. She emphasized the importance of this program in achieving inclusivity and social integration, as it reached individuals from 27 governorates across Egypt.
Helali noted that over 40% of the program’s graduates in the past two years have secured jobs within just six months of completing their training, reflecting the program’s success in meeting labor market needs.
She stressed the importance of continued cooperation between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the “Helm” Foundation through the “Taaheel” platform, which aims to support people with special needs in obtaining employment opportunities.
Helali also discussed the rights guaranteed by the Egyptian constitution and international agreements for people with special needs, emphasizing that providing job opportunities for them is not just a social duty but an investment in the future of society. She conveyed the greetings and congratulations of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, to the graduates on their achievements, wishing them a bright future filled with opportunities and challenges. Helali also thanked all partners and supporters who contributed to the success of this program, reaffirming the ongoing commitment to achieving inclusivity and promoting the rights of people with special needs in the community.
