Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Seraj, Governor of Sohag, participated in the group Iftar organized by the governorate’s “Special Needs Affairs” at the public park in Al-Thaqafa Square. The event saw the participation of 1500 individuals with special needs from various centers across the governorate, as part of his commitment to enhancing communication with all segments of society.
The Iftar was attended by Dr. Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Deputy Governor, Major General Alaa Abdel Jabbar, Secretary-General of the Governorate, Major General Ahmed Al-Sayes, Assistant Secretary-General, Colonel Wael Abu Al-Qasim, Deputy Military Adviser, Mohamed Abu Al-Ajab, Special Needs Affairs Officer in the Governorate, along with several executive leaders in the governorate.
The Governor expressed his happiness to share this Ramadan atmosphere with his sons with special needs, emphasizing that the governorate spares no effort in supporting all groups, working to meet their needs and provide them with dignified living conditions. He also engaged in conversations with the attendees, listening to their aspirations and suggestions.
The individuals with special needs praised the continuous support provided by the Governor, appreciating his keenness to participate in various events. They expressed their gratitude for this kind gesture, which reflects the significant attention given to them. At the end of the event, the attendees were keen to take commemorative photos with the Governor, expressing their joy at his participation.
