In accordance with the directive of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to double the disbursement of social assistance allocations for social security beneficiaries and recipients of special needs allowances during the holy month of Ramadan, and his instruction to the Ministry of Social Development to commence disbursement of these entitlements before the holy month.
To alleviate the living burdens of low-income families during the fasting month, the Ministry of Social Development immediately coordinated with the relevant authorities to transfer these entitlements to the beneficiaries’ accounts within the specified disbursement timeframe.
On this occasion, His Excellency Mr. Osama bin Saleh Al-Alawi, Minister of Social Development, affirmed that this generous gesture reflects the continuous care provided by the government, led by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support citizens and contribute to enhancing social solidarity, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
He explained that these directives would help reduce the living burdens on beneficiaries and enhance their social stability, as they exemplify the deep concern for citizens from various segments and the commitment to meeting their living requirements, particularly the most needed groups.
