A meeting was held at the headquarters of the National Rally of Independents party in the Moulay Rachid Sidi Othmane districts in Casablanca to establish the branch of the “Amal Al-Ahrar for Individuals with Special Needs” association in Sidi Othmane. The meeting was chaired by Khadija Amzouga, as the chairwoman of the preparatory committee, and attended by committee members, heads of associations working in the field of special needs, families of individuals with special needs, and various social activists.
The meeting commenced with a welcoming speech by the chairwoman of the committee, who thanked the attendees for their support and contributions to this event. Following that, the draft basic law of the association was presented and discussed, reading each article and receiving input from those present, eventually being approved unanimously.
After the approval of the basic law, the voting for the president of the branch of the association took place. The attendees unanimously elected Khadija Amzouga as the president of the branch. She was also authorized to select and form the members of the executive office as she deemed fit to achieve the association’s objectives.
In the closing of the meeting, the president of the association expressed her profound gratitude to all attendees, including the heads of associations, families of individuals with special needs, and social activists, for their presence and active participation. She emphasized the importance of this establishment in supporting and serving the causes of individuals with special needs.
