The Authority for the Rights of Individuals with Special Needs at the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs concluded its participation in the 48th Baghdad International Fair, which witnessed significant engagement from visitors and governmental and private entities.
The Chairwoman of the Authority, Mrs. Zekra Abdel Rahim, explained that participation in the exhibition was an important opportunity to raise awareness about the rights of individuals with special needs and to coordinate with private sector companies to implement the 3% job quota allocated for them. Additionally, it aimed to support productive projects of associations for individuals with special needs by showcasing their products within the Authority’s pavilion.
The Chairwoman affirmed the Authority’s ongoing efforts to empower individuals with special needs and enhance their rights in accordance with the amended Law No. 38 of 2013.
