Today, a delegation from the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, visited Japan to explore policies and services offered in the field of early childhood development. The delegation focused on approaches that emphasize integration, inclusivity, and quality, as well as the implementation of a technical study for the Integrated Early Childhood Development Centers Project.
The delegation was led by Ms. Ma’ani bint Abdullah Al-Busaidi, Director General of Family Development at the Ministry of Social Development, with the presence of H.E. Dr. Mohammed bin Said Al-Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate to Japan, and several representatives from the Ministries of Social Development, Education, and Health, who are involved in the early childhood sector.
The head of the delegation and her accompanying team examined the experience of the Fukudenkai Social Welfare Corporation in providing comprehensive services for children with special needs, children at risk of abuse, and children without family care. These services include educational, care, advisory, and housing assistance.
Additionally, the Omani delegation visited two integrated nurseries, which serve as exemplary models for comprehensive services in education, health, and care for all categories. These nurseries are distinguished by their quality approach in supporting families and optimizing early childhood development.
