Jasour Social Services Organization, the media sponsor of the conference, was honored during the activities of the First International Conference of the Faculty of Special Education at Misr University for Science and Technology, entitled “Special Education and Quality of Life in Light of Contemporary Global Trends,” in appreciation of Jasour’s active role in sponsoring the activities and sessions of the conference.
Dr. Nihad Al-Mahboub, Acting President of Misr University for Science and Technology, and Dr. Sherif Shaheen, Dean of the Faculty of Special Education and President of the Conference, presented the university’s shield of honor to journalist Ashraf Jaber, CEO and Editor-in-Chief of Jusoor Magazine and Website.
On this occasion, Ashraf Jaber expressed his happiness with the honor and Jasour’s media sponsorship of the conference, noting the importance of cooperation between media outlets, academies, and institutions specializing in special education and special needs affairs in general.
He confirmed that this step forms a good start and a promising step on a long path to deeper cooperation between Jasour and Misr University for Science and Technology and other prestigious academic institutions in the Arab world and worldwide.
It is worth mentioning that the First International Conference of the Faculty of Special Education, entitled “Special Education and Quality of Life in Light of Contemporary Global Trends,” was held this November, celebrating ten years since the faculty’s establishment, with the attendance of a large number of academics, specialists, and those interested in special education, rehabilitation, integration, and education of individuals with special needs and their families.
