The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the launch of the second edition of the Sustainable Solutions Challenge for Guests of the Merciful, aimed at attracting entrepreneurs, innovators, and developers to improve the services provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers.
The challenge seeks to enhance the experience of these guests through creative ideas and development projects that help overcome the challenges facing this vital sector and contribute to the aspirations of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The challenge aims to foster creativity and innovation in the field of Hajj and Umrah services by establishing start-ups that support the national economy and provide advanced technological solutions to enhance and sustainably develop these services.
The initiative covers several main areas, including the development of the Nusuk card, providing comprehensive services, improving the touristic experience for the guests, enhancing communication solutions, and working on improving infrastructure. It also includes developing health and environmental safety services and offering innovative solutions for special needs.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah confirmed that this initiative represents an exceptional opportunity for entrepreneurs and innovators to present new ideas that support the sector and improve the quality of services provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers.
