15 Million Special Needs Campaign. Mohamed Said Amara, the general coordinator and founder of the “15 Million Special Needs” campaign, also known as “Knights of Will,” stated that the campaign believes in the capabilities of individuals with special needs. He pointed out that there is a high-level national team for cerebral palsy disabilities, and they strive to win many championships.
Amara added that the state has successfully resolved the issue of individuals with special needs regarding vehicles. He mentioned that the campaign was against the idea of selling certificates for special needs individuals to buy cars, and it succeeded in making its voice heard by the state.
He noted that President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi has recommended that the Cabinet open a community dialogue on the proposed amendments to the law on individuals with special needs. He explained that these amendments have caused some concern among individuals with special needs, but there is great confidence in the political leadership.
