The National Council for Special Needs Individuals, in collaboration with the Ministry of Military Production, represented by the General Administration for Women’s Affairs and the Equal Opportunities Unit, organized two awareness seminars on the national initiative “My Family, My Strength” in the ministry’s training sector in the regions of Salam and Helwan.
Dr. Iman Kareem, General Supervisor of the Council, stated in a press release that the seminars aimed to train employees representing various companies and units affiliated with the ministry. The seminars discussed the rights of special needs individuals according to Law No. 10 of 2018 on the Rights of Special Needs Individuals and the mechanisms for its implementation.
The seminars also addressed the penalties related to the exploitation or impersonation of the rights of special needs individuals, as well as the challenges facing the implementation of the law, and the procedures for obtaining services through the integrated services card.
Amal Abdel Khaleq, General Director of the General Administration for Women’s Affairs and Head of the Equal Opportunities Unit, emphasized that these seminars are part of the Ministry of Military Production’s commitment to organizing awareness seminars aimed at developing employees’ capabilities and enhancing their cultural awareness, thereby contributing to improving their standard of living and increasing their productivity.
