During her attendance at the “Our Children” Forum to support individuals with special needs, artist Safaa Abu Al-Saud emphasized that this event holds a special significance for her, as it combines creativity and strong willpower. She expressed her happiness at seeing children with special needs make progress year after year in fields such as singing, playing musical instruments, and movement.
In her interview on Sada Al-Balad TV channel, Abu Al-Saud said, “I love this forum because it allows me to see the pure talents and abilities that God has granted to the children. I see great progress in their skills, and this gives me a sense of happiness and pride.”
She highlighted the importance of integrating children with special needs into society, asserting that supporting them contributes to building a strong and confident generation. She added, “I was very happy when I saw children who started with simple skills and, after a period, were performing wonderful shows. Art helps build self-confidence and achieve success.”
Abu Al-Saud considered her work directed at children as the cornerstone of her artistic career. She mentioned the play “Sahseh Lama Yanjah” as one of her most prominent works, saying that it achieved local and international success, having been performed in the United States. She noted that children are very intelligent audiences and learn quickly through art.
