The Saudi Association for Hearing Impairment participated in the Saudi Founding Day events held at the Saqar Al-Jazeera Museum by setting up an informative corner that lasted for three days. The initiative aimed to highlight the association’s services and efforts in supporting and empowering individuals with hearing impairments.
Dr. Othman bin Abdulaziz Al-Othman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the association, stated, “We take pride in participating in this cherished national occasion that reflects the Kingdom’s heritage and history. Through our informative corner, we aimed to showcase the association’s role in supporting and empowering individuals with hearing impairments and enhancing their integration into society through quality programs and initiatives aligned with Vision 2030.”
The informative corner received wide interaction from visitors who showed great interest in the services provided by the association. They also learned about sign language and the culture of the deaf community, contributing to spreading awareness and promoting effective communication among different segments of society.
