The UAE-based “Sawaaed Al Khair” Association has confirmed its intention to establish a charitable center in Baghdad for the rehabilitation of individuals with special needs.
According to the media office of the Prime Minister, the Prime Minister recently welcomed Sheikha Fatima bint Hasher Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Sawaaed Al Khair Association, and her accompanying delegation. He expressed his appreciation for this visit, which aims to enhance mutual understanding, develop bilateral cooperation, and strengthen ties between Iraq and the UAE. He emphasized the government’s commitment to providing all necessary support to elevate relations across various sectors.
Prime Minister Sudani highlighted that Iraq has become an attractive and encouraging environment for investments, due to its resources and genuine opportunities. He stated that women’s participation in the investment and labor sectors enhances their role in nation-building and contributes to sustainable development.
For her part, Sheikha Fatima Al Maktoum expressed her admiration for the Iraqi government’s efforts in supporting women and facilitating their entry into the workforce. She affirmed her determination to establish a charitable center in Baghdad for the rehabilitation of individuals with special needs, showcasing her leadership in humanitarian and philanthropic endeavors.
Prime Minister Sudani welcomed this initiative and directed efforts to overcome any obstacles to ensure the project’s completion.
