The Aswan Special Needs Club, under the presidency of Counselor Abdel Fattah Suleiman, won 7 various medals on the first day of the National Athletics Championship series for individuals with physical disabilities, hearing impairments, and short stature held in Kafr El-Sheikh, which runs from December 19 to 21.
Ibrahim Al-Ajmi, the media advisor for the Aswan Special Needs Club, told “Youm7” that the results of the first day of the championship were as follows:
2 Gold Medals: Ayah Abdel Wahab in the 100-meter sprint for short stature, and Omnia Ramadan Atiya in the 100-meter sprint for the hearing impaired.
2 Silver Medals: Aisha Alayan in javelin throw for the hearing impaired, and Asmaa Abdel Wahab in the 100-meter sprint for short stature.
3 Bronze Medals: Mohamed Bahaa in discus throw for physical disabilities, Adel Mowafi Mahdi in shot put for physical disabilities, and Fatima Mohamed Hussein in javelin throw for the hearing impaired.
Al-Ajmi added that the President of the club congratulated the champions and the coaches, Captain Mahmoud Abu Al-Qasim and Captain Saber Al-Najjar, the athletics trainers at the club.
