The King Abdullah II Cultural Center in Zarqa hosted the second Zarqa Conference for individuals with special needs, under the slogan “My Disability is My Distinction,” under the patronage of the Governor of Zarqa, Dr. Firas Abu Qaoud.
The conference, organized by the Hamam Al-Madina Charitable Association, Al-Hikma Social Development Association, and the Karama Cultural Forum in cooperation with the Zarqa Directorate of Culture, was attended by the Chairman of the Zarqa Governorate Council, Faisal Al-Zawahra, Director of Culture, Mohammed Al-Zoubi, along with a group of media professionals and representatives of the local community.
Dr. Abu Qaoud affirmed that the conference was held on the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, in line with the directives of King Abdullah II, who focuses on and cares for individuals with special needs, providing them with special attention and care.
