The Ramadan Games, organized by the Saudi Federation for Visual Impairments in collaboration with the Riyadh Special Needs Club, concluded at the Paralympic Hall in the Olympic Complex, Riyadh, from March 4-9, 2025. The event saw the participation of numerous teams in goalball, table tennis, and judo.
The final day witnessed a large audience who actively engaged with the events organized by the Federation and the Riyadh Special Needs Club.
The Federation President, Khalid bin Suleiman Al-Fuhaid, honored Abdulrahman Al-Shailan, the Executive Director of the Riyadh Special Needs Club, and the winning teams.
Additionally, the Federation President honored several judo players who achieved notable results in previous championships.
The closing ceremony included performances by members of the Saudi Judo team as part of the cooperation agreement between the Saudi Federation for Visual Impairments and the Saudi Judo Federation.
The Federation President, Mr. Khalid Al-Fuhaid, expressed his happiness with the success of the Ramadan Games and extended his gratitude to the Riyadh Special Needs Club for hosting the event and contributing to its remarkable success.
He emphasized that the participation of a large number of teams and players in the three games—goalball, judo, and table tennis—encourages the Federation to organize similar events across the Kingdom in the future.
He also extended his thanks and appreciation to all who attended the closing ceremony, including the players’ families, participants, and media representatives.
