The Proposals and Complaints Committee in the House of Representatives, along with the Ministry of Social Solidarity, unanimously approved the proposal by Coordination Deputy Hoda Abdel Sattar Ammar regarding the creation of an electronic database to register licensed nurseries and centers for individuals with special needs across the country.
Creation of an Electronic Database to Register Licensed Nurseries and Centers for Individuals with Special Needs
Representative Hoda Abdel Sattar Ammar, a member of the House of Representatives for the Coordination of Youth Parties and Politicians, presented the proposal concerning the creation of an electronic database to register nurseries and various service centers for individuals with special needs.
She emphasized the necessity of cataloging these nurseries and centers to curb the spread of unlicensed ones and to enable parents to verify that all required conditions are met by these nurseries or centers. Representatives from both the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Social Solidarity welcomed the proposal, confirming that this database would be ready within a few months during the current year.
The Coordination Deputy stressed the importance of promptly completing the project to ensure the protection of our children, both those with and without special needs, to prevent the occurrence of abuse in unlicensed establishments.
