Dr. Iman Karim, General Supervisor of the National Council for Special Needs Individuals, emphasized the importance and value of community awareness in preserving the identity and assets of the Egyptian state. She highlighted the need for awareness regarding issues faced by individuals with special needs and preparing society to engage with them positively. Dr. Karim stressed that awareness is a societal matter, and everything begins with it; nothing holds value without awareness. She commended Mrs. Entissar El-Sisi, the wife of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, for her efforts in emphasizing the role of awareness in nation-building.
Dr. Karim outlined the council’s strategy, which includes raising community awareness about the roles and issues faced by individuals with special needs. She noted that these individuals are active members of society, and the council aims to raise awareness through conferences, seminars, discussions, training courses, and workshops to educate people about their roles, rights, and responsibilities.
The General Supervisor of the National Council for Special Needs Individuals stated that all state institutions must prioritize awareness and unite efforts for the advancement and prosperity of beloved Egypt. She asserted that individuals with special needs are an integral part of the nation and are fully aware of the Egyptian state’s efforts in empowering them over the past ten years. They have always been at the forefront in defending these efforts.
