The Kuwaiti charity organization, “Reviving Islamic Heritage Society,” in collaboration with the Social Development Fund, organized the distribution of food and relief supplies to people with disabilities and needy families in the Wadi Hadhramout region.
The Deputy Governor of Hadhramout for the Affairs of the Valley and Desert Districts, Amer Al-Amri, inaugurated today the distribution of food and relief supplies provided by the Reviving Islamic Heritage Society in Kuwait, implemented by Al-Dhamir Charitable Social Foundation.
Al-Amri listened to Sheikh Abu Bakr Al-Haddar, the Chairman of the Foundation, explaining the food and relief baskets, which total 315 baskets, including 140 baskets for people with disabilities and 175 for the needy. These will be distributed through the Coordinating Council for People with Disabilities in the districts of Al-Soum and Sah, and the most in-need areas in the districts of Seiyun, Tarim, Shibam, and Qatan.
He pointed out that more baskets are coming and Iftar meals will be distributed during the holy month of Ramadan as part of Al-Dhamir’s annual efforts to assist beneficiaries amid the difficult circumstances the country is experiencing. He expressed gratitude to the local authorities for providing all necessary facilitations, enabling the Foundation to carry out its Ramadan programs and other various activities.
The initiative is part of the annual efforts by the Social Responsibility Foundation to support beneficiaries during challenging times. The local authorities provided all necessary facilitations to ensure the successful implementation of the Ramadan program and other activities.
