The Al-Wafa Center for the Rehabilitation of Individuals with Special Needs in the Wilayat of Mirbat honored its graduates in a ceremony held in the multi-purpose hall at the office of the Wali of Mirbat. The event was attended by Mohammed bin Humaid Al-Kalbani, Director General of the General Directorate of Social Development in Dhofar Governorate, along with members of the Municipal Council of Wilayat Mirbat.
The ceremony included a presentation of the center’s achievements in supporting and empowering individuals with special needs and preparing them for effective participation in society. The presentation was delivered by Bakheet bin Saeed Al-Shahri, the head of the center.
The event also featured the distribution of certificates of appreciation and gifts to the graduates in recognition of their efforts and success in overcoming challenges to achieve their goals. Additionally, government and private entities, as well as partners supporting the center, were honored.
In his speech, Mohammed bin Humaid Al-Kalbani, Director General of the General Directorate of Social Development in Dhofar Governorate, praised the efforts of the center’s management and staff, and the positive cooperation from the families with the center. He emphasized the importance of government efforts to enhance and improve the services of rehabilitation centers in supporting this community.
