Engineer Sherif Al-Sherbini, the Minister of Housing, Utilities, and Urban Communities, announced that the process of selling the conditions booklets for the new “Housing for All Egyptians 5” project to citizens with special needs is proceeding smoothly and without any obstacles. He noted that the booklets are available in large quantities at all automated post offices scattered across cities and governorates.
From her side, Mai Abdel Hamid, the CEO of the Social Housing Fund and Mortgage Finance Support, confirmed that the demand for purchasing the conditions booklets saw a strong start. About 2,400 citizens bought the booklet within the first hours, while 140 citizens paid the initial reservation deposit, reflecting the expected rush in the coming days.
Abdel Hamid pointed out the formation of an internal monitoring committee to detect any issues that citizens might face while purchasing the booklets, emphasizing that the fund is committed to resolving any obstacles quickly to ensure the ease of obtaining the booklets.
She also stressed the need to intensify efforts to counter the rumors spreading through social media about the announcement.
Abdel Hamid added that there is no need to crowd in front of post offices, as the priority of purchasing the booklets does not affect obtaining the housing units, as the fund relies on a priority system to determine the eligible beneficiaries.
She urged citizens to communicate through official channels to obtain accurate information, whether through social media or customer service centers.
